The tour officially starts bright and early on Friday morning. Your local guide will pick you up promptly at 8am from your hostel in Marrakech. You will then begin the short drive to Imlil Valley, a beautiful area nestled in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains.

Enjoy an energizing mint tea before beginning the ascent over Tizi n’Tachte Pass (2000m). Along the way you will walk through a forest of juniper trees and past several remote Berber villages. For lunch, tuck into a home cooked meal made by your own private chef as you sit in the shade and enjoy the spectacular views of Toubkal Summit. Don’t worry about having to lug around a heavy backpack: you’ll also have a mule to carry all of your belongings.

The day concludes in a quaint Berber village nestled deep within the mountains. You’ll spend the night in a traditional home made of clay where you can observe day-to-day village life before finally hitting the hay.
